Cooking demo
The Fresh Market's Fresh Flavors Cooking Demo will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Fresh Market in Destin, 4495 Commons Drive West. The event is free.
Craft class
Ribbon Box Making, a Green Earth Living Craft Class, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 11 inside the Indian Temple Mound Museum's Lazarus Education room in Fort Walton Beach. Cost is $10/public and $8/Friends of the Museum. Register at 833-9595 or email jlamott@fwb.org. Materials are included.
Annual Art Show & Sale at Seascape by Sharon Long Watercolors

Destin Commons Mardi Gras Masquerade
The third annual Mardi Gras Masquerade with Dr. Zydecko and the Beal Street Bottle Club Band! Join us at Destin Commons for live entertainment, a seafood boil, arts & crafts, street dancing and more.
"Ruth's Secrets Revealed" Cooking Classes

Destin 50 Beach Ultra Marathon
End Date: February 20; Duration: 3 Days
An entire weekend of events for runners including a 5-mile "Fun Run" on Saturday; 50-mile and 50K Ultra Running Races; and 50-mile relay on Sunday. There will be a Runner's "Social" on Monday. All events take place on the beautiful beaches of Destin and surrounding areas and benefit the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
HarborWalk Village Mardi Gras Celebration
Enjoy free red beans and rice from Poppy's Crazy Lobster, street performers, and live music! March through the Harbor with your four-legged friends at the Party Animal Parade at 6:30. Join this wild and vibrant Fat Tuesday celebration!
Crocheted Rug Making Class with Jean Lucas
Green earth living : Jean will teach you how to make a crocheted rug from recycled materials. Class costs $25 for public, and $20 for Friends of the Museum members (all class materials included).
